Now that tensions between India and China are running high, Christina planned to play the two countries off of one another to get the highest price for Scylla and all it’s military technology. Unfortunately for her, Michael and Lincoln steal the Scylla briefcase from her just before her plan was completely. Michael runs away with the case, the General and T-Bag (Robert Knepper) capture Sara while Christina captures Lincoln and both parties want Michael to turn over the briefcase. Who will he choose? Wentworth Miller on Prison Break Finale

Wentworth Miller – Michael Scofield

Re: the finale reunites Michael and Lincoln with some old friends
“In the finale we see a couple of very familiar faces, people we thought were gone for good but clearly were not, but we’re glad to see them. I mean as actors you miss cast members who fall by the wayside for one reason or another and I think that the people we do get to say hello to and catch up with were, were fixtures the first season and second season, people whose presence was felt and was definitely missed after they were gone.”

Re: knowing this season was going to be "Prison Break’s" last
It’s very rare the show goes out on its own terms, you know, when you hear the word cancelled most of the time that means, you know, someone’s gonna pull the plug and the lights go out and everyone goes home. But we were able to finish out the season and that gave the writers time to address all the loose ends and really pull things together in a way that I hope is thrilling and satisfying for an audience that’s been paying their dues if you will for four years. I think they deserve a really good send off and that’s what we’re working hard to give ‘em.

Re: what we can expect from the series finale
When I think of the last episode I think there were definitely some surprises and some, some, some really electric unexpected moments. Again the show continues to surprise me in that we are a network show but we do things that you’d expect to see on cable, say, and not everyone gets a happy ending and I think some people might be taken aback by that but I think it’s also very true to the story that we’ve been telling all along. In a sense the story can only end one way and I’m really pleased that the writers and the cast and crew and everyone involved in the show have the cajones to really see it through.

Re: why he’s loved the "Prison Break" storyline
“It’s not a procedural drama. It’s not the same beats season after season. We intentionally throw out everything that we know works and reinvent ourselves every fall and we take risks like nobody else and I think by and large they’ve all paid off and the, the important side effect is that it keeps things interesting and new and fresh for the actors involved.”

Latest from TV Guide

From TVGuide about PB finale: "Are we going to see Prison Break’s Michael alive in the flash forward at the end of Episode 22? At least give us a clue. — Dea
MATT: Oh, I’d be breaking my personal spoiling code if I told you who’s alive and not at the end of Friday’s season finale. What I am good with is saying that the "four years later" coda is done well, and is quite thorough. Among the things we get to see: Someone is sent to the electric chair, there’s an interesting romantic hook-up, and Robert Knepper was right – T-Bag’s fate is an absolutely perfect one."

Latest from The Man

-Laufas-: I have another question for The_Man
Will Kellerman play a bigger part of the finale, or will he just kinda show up near the end? That would be kinda disappointing.. I’d rather he show up within the first 3 minutes and is on-screen for the rest of the episode.

The Man: He appears about 1/5 of the way into the episode. You will see him several times.

Viewers may feel cheated

It always seemed like the worst thing that could happen with a television series was for it to end without a proper finale.

There may be something worse.

The two-hour series finale of "Prison Break," to air at 8 p.m. Friday, wraps up events that have unfolded during the show’s four-year run on Fox. But the ending is grossly unsatisfying.

"Prison Break’s" first season was masterful. It featured a complicated story line about genius brother Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) getting himself tossed in jail to help his brother, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell). Each week built tension.

That first season of "Prison Break" was television at its finest.

Then the brothers escaped and the quality began to fade until eventually the series ended up in a muddled mess of backstabbing in this fourth and final season.

While this past year has been a chore to watch because of the illogical twists and turns, the promise of a proper finale was appealing.

Fox has asked that no specific details of the two-hour finale be revealed. Fine. It would be unfair to take away the fun that comes with each revelation.

It is safe to say that the battle between the brothers and their psychotic mother (Kathleen Quinlan) is wrapped up. More mercifully, the silly battle over the device known as Scylla comes to an end.

And the fate of all of the supporting cast is revealed. There are even a few surprises. You’ll just have to watch to find out the details.

The fact there is a final chapter to "Prison Break" is great. It is the epilogue to that ending that is so infuriating.

Television viewers are asked to invest in characters. We grow to like them. That relationship is important for a show to keep going past a few episodes. This finale makes me wish I had stopped watching "Prison Break" after the first season.

What happens is hard to explain without giving away key plot points. All I can say is it is a slap in the face. It’s criminal when a series that started so strong leaves viewers with such an unappealing ending.

Episodes 4.23 & 4.24 – Press Release

Michael, Lincoln, Sara and co may have removed the thorn in their side, the Company, but happiness is short-lived. The two- hour action spectacular begins with a trip down the aisle as Michael and a heavily pregnant Sara tie the knot. As ever, Lady Luck holds the lovebirds in disregard, and the newlyweds have no time to enjoy the delights of marital bliss. Michael is forced to cancel any honeymoon plans when Sara is arrested for the murder of mother from hell Christina Scofield and, without so much as a trial, sent to Miami-Dade Women’s Prison, where the Doc is reunited with a familiar, but hardly friendly face. Meanwhile, Krantz isn’t adapting to his abode, Miami-Dade Men’s Prison, but his mood soon brightens when he finds out about Sara’s predicament. Krantz decides to while his hours of incarceration by plotting her demise, putting a mark on head for the princely sum of $100,000. Wicked word soon reaches Miami-Dade Women’s Prison, and a vulnerable Sara must fight for survival. In a fitting farewell that ensures the show flies the coop on the headiest of highs, Michael and friends reunite to break Sara out.

Brenda in Los Angeles: How about a little hint on who the mystery guest is that you teased for the series finale of Prison Break?
Your hint: Many of you guessed correctly in the comments of our last Prison Break item. How about we hint something else from the item? There’s actually more than one male who dies, and more than two females are taken hostage. But the real tease is here: We do meet Michael Jr. before the two hours are up.

Dea in Pristina, Kosovo: As a Michael and Sara fan, did you like the finale of Prison Break?
As Michael and Sara fans, we literally cried tears of joy at the present-day ending of Prison Break. The future ending of Prison Break, on the other hand, brought a different kind of tears. There’s quite some time between the present and future endings, so technically, Michael and Sara do have a happy ending.
