Season 5!!!???
Wow, Prison Break has gone from the possible cancellation list to the renewal for 2009-10 list!!
According to TV By the Numbers, it seems that “because either their own results are improving or their network results are slipping (it doesn’t matter which since it’s the show’s relative performance that matters), several shows moved from the Cancellation in May zone into the Renewal for 2009-10 Likely zone this week including: Chuck, Prison Break, and Ugly Betty.”

i agree w/ those who said the show should end, you can start to feel like they out of material for this show and season 4 is like squeezing an orange when there’s no more juice.

I’m not sure about a season 5…. but if theree is one…. I will watch it for sure… Im a big fan…. and I know that good writters can comme up with a giant big story for season 5. I love Wentworth performance as MS and would watch it every week like I do right now with season 4. But the and of PB would mean the chance for Wentworth to show us is capacity as an talented actor in other charactors in tv shows or movies!!! Im all about Wentworth…. not about PB!!

I really like this show, but a part of me would be okay with it ending. I would LOVE to see Wentworth in other things (not going to lie he is the main reason I still watch the show – Swoon!) and I know he has said he wont work on other projects till PB is over. All the actors are amazing, and I love these characters but I am also interested seeing them all in other projects too – I wouldn’t be okay though if the Company wins at the end of this season.

it’s great news, I do love prison break and wentworth. but is it be better that they ended the show in season 4? i was kind hope season 3 was the last one. it is felt kind of eternal.

the thing is the original idea of the show was escape n family values they achieved that every show has some theme n good shows ends with the same theme so if writers can come up along that line its ok but in pb case they r getting off track tv shows r not everyday life that goes on until someone die also the long series r damaging 4 cast n crew. most of the cast wants it end so they can start new projects ihope u understand the reasons 4 people who wants the end we r all devoted fans but if many fans wants 2 keep the show alive there might be something i m missing

Listen, everyone. I expected season 4 to be really boring, since there would be nothing they could show to us. I proved to be totally wrong, eventually and fortunately! They caused us interest about the whole thing, the company, Sara, Michael etc. And I love the new episodes! So it might be a good idea to continue with a fifth season, unless they have a groundless scenario. Do you agree? Because I love Prison Break, and of course Went. But I don’t think they should ruin all the show, which is truly amazing, for a 5th season that might not go well.

Hi, I totally agree with Olga. I think this show is completely different than it was in the beginning, it`s lost its original thought if I can say so. and although I really love PB and Went of course i honestly hope they end this season. usually the longer the series is the less interest it has and I don`t want PB to become sth boring. the writers changed it into a regular action TVseries. I hope that all the fans would agree with me that we should remember PB as sth fantastic not sth that was cancelled because nobody wanted to watch it anymore. Just hope the series finale would make us fall from our chairs.

Honestly I don’t what to say. I love Prison Break, I love Wentworth too. He has become a huge part of my life and it’s very hard for me too keep even a week without watching PB…but I really don’t think season 5 idea is good. I don’t doubt that the writers would come up with a great storyline to keep the interest but it’s not the same. I guess all true fans would admit if not in front of others but at least for themselves that season 1 and 2 were something really amazing if we compare them with season 3 and 4. I’m not saying that I don’t like them, but it’s different. The only thing I care now is a full season 4 and later we’ll see. If there is a season 5 I’ll be very happy as I can enjoy my lovely Went again but if I have to choose I’d like to remember PB such as it was in season 1!

i dint think thats a good idea.i think it would be great if they take down the company in this season and finaly be free.if theres gonna be a season 5,then i think there are just gonna be more problems,and more charakters will die.so i think itll be better if this is the final season.

That’s correct, Mery. Honestly, I could think that the content of the 3rd and the 4th season is completely different from the other two. They could be different series! Because, what is all Prison break about? Michael Scofield, who knows that his brother is innocent, decides to break him out of Prison. That’s all. Oh, and then he runs out of the police with another 7 prisoners including his brother Lincoln, while trying to prove he didn’t kill Terence Steadman. They find out about a huge conspiracy, The Company, who set up Lincoln. Guess what, Michael gets caught again. They kill the woman he loves, Dr Sara Tancredi. Breaks out of the prison he is someone from the Company, James Whistler. Sara, how did this happen, is not dead eventually. Ah, and 6 cards, that complete sth called Scylla will help the brothers take down the company. Health problem appears for Mike. Wow, and then what? Michael dies? Michael lives? Company is taken down? Company takes down the brothers? And then? What happens next?

I cannot say that the people who made Prison break have not done a good job – contrarily – I believe they have got over theirselves.
But how far can this be pulled?
If a new season is being discussed and takes shape, I will watch it fiercely.

But it is a TV Show, after all! :]

no im not in this business but in past i hv seen some of v popular tv actors were suffered by this there r many examples but if u watched buffy its the greatest show of late 90 but all actors were stuck with the character they played in that series n Sarah m geller{who is by far the best i hv seen} still known as buffy n although she is working but most still called her buffy im not sure who but someone from pb once mentioned that it will take time to reestablish again after pb

i really dont know what 2 say…all of you are right!on the 1 hand its good to see wents performance and all the crews n casts great work.on the other hand it may be a little boring,u know the 3 n 4 season r very different from the 1 n 2 as mery said and she competely right!most people started watching pb and they thought it would be about a guy (michael)who try 2 save his bro from a punishment 4 a crime he never did, their escape and how the police try 2 stop them.and then what…the whole thing changes…and the topic is about taking down the company!,i dont say i dont like it and yes if there is s05 i would love 2 watch it.BUT many people have different opinions and some of them support pb to end or that s04 shouldnt even exist!(personally i dont agree).but seriously now the whole thing is about money…i mean if pb dont appeal as many people as it used 2 they r gonna stop broadcasting it…they almost stop broadcasting s04,that the most people love it, its not difficult 2 understand they are gonna stop s05 that SOME FANS DONT LIKE THE IDEA OF IT…after all i dont want 2 remember that the tv show i loved, my favourite one, the best ever PRISON BREAK may be or be cancelled because people r BORED!”boring” is NOT a word that describes that show, believe me its not…oh and 1 more thing all this is about pbs05, its not about went i read an article that says he would love 2 star in an romantic movie so why dont we give him the opportunity 2 star in a new and unsual 4 him kind of film…you never know that kind maybe suits him better!

I’m one of PB fan in Thailand. All i wanna say is wotever will be, will be.If the S5 is back,i’m very appriciate and looking fwd to watch it. If it don’t have a chance, it’s ok. I’ll follow the casts & crews growth in other shows or films. Personally, i think the s3 is the begining of boring feeling to this show. It’s..not much exciting and the storyline is quite go so far away from PB concept. By the way, many ppl including me love it and continully support wotever PB is in the future. I live in the UK, but this summer I went to Portugal (hometown) to recover from a brain tumor, my mum loves PB and she made me be addicted to it!If I think that should be a season 5? I dont see why not, there will always bad guys behind the government…I love Wentworth and as much as I liked him to move on, I must say that I love MS!I dont think there was ever such a clever series!For the ones who say that this is not PB concept, do they even know what a series mean???u must be adaptable…There was a story line at the beginning I dont think they’ve changed that much!I luv PB hopes it doesnt end so soon!
