“PRISON BREAK” PLANS ITS GREATEST ESCAPE YET

AS SERIES COMES TO A CLOSE THIS SPRING

Final Episodes Begin Friday, April 17, on FOX

The greatest escape on television comes to an end after four suspenseful seasons when PRISON BREAK returns for the series’ final episodes beginning Friday, April 17 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

PRISON BREAK premiered in August 2005. The show was an immediate hit and followed Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) as he engineered a daring escape from Fox River Penitentiary to free his wrongly convicted brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) from Death Row. With the prison break a success, the brothers, along with six additional escapees, were part of a nationwide manhunt headed by FBI Agent Alex Mahone (William Fichtner), who later was revealed to be working for The Company, a shadowy government organization that had initially framed Lincoln.

The action then moved to Panama where the tables were turned and Lincoln worked to free Michael from the hellish prison SONA. After eventually escaping from Central America, the brothers teamed with Homeland Security Agent Don Self (Michael Rapaport) to dismantle The Company once and for all by stealing SCYLLA, a device that contained the organization’s most valuable secrets. Following a series of double-crosses, the brothers now find themselves racing to retrieve SCYLLA, which unbeknownst to them has landed in the possession of their estranged mother and Company operative Christina (Kathleen Quinlan).

PRISON BREAK stars Dominic Purcell, Wentworth Miller, Michael Rapaport, Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe, Sarah Wayne Callies and William Fichtner. Academy Award nominee Kathleen Quinlan guest-stars in the series’ final episodes.

PRISON BREAK is an Adelstein-Parouse Production in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Paul T. Scheuring, Matt Olmstead, Kevin Hooks, Marty Adelstein, Dawn Parouse, Neal Moritz and Brett Ratner are executive producers. Zack Estrin, Nick Santora and Karyn Usher are co-executive producers.

  4. In a way, I’m kind of glad. I know Went didn’t want to do another season and I can’t imagine PB without him! I’m sure there are more projects out there for our talented Went!

  5. It’s weird, I’m kind of gutted that it’s all over but if I’m honest I don’t think I could have sat through a season 5 of PB because so far this season has become a bit of a mess IMO. Hopefully the last episodes will be really good and not leave any questions unanswered because that would be the most annoying thing.
It’s still sad to think of not having new PB to watch though :-(

Hopefully Wentworth will have a new show or film out afterwards so I still get to watch him ;-D

  7. I agree with Caitie too.
I want to see him in another projects (maybe Romantic Comedy movie…something like that) than PB season5. However, I’m a little bit sad coz I’m not sure when I could see him again (in another project)

  8. Mixed feelings definitely over the demise of PB. On one hand as a fan i enjoy seeing Went every wk and have news of him but on the other hand i know it is good for him to move on to other projects. I miss him already and i really wonder what is going to be like with no more PB after the final 6 episodes.

  9. I’m glad, really. It will become into something very boring and bad if it doesn’t end. I’ll miss it a lot of course, I miss it now let alone knowing that we’ll never see it again :( ( Bit at least it isn’t unexpected, we knew that something like that is coming. I only hope to Wentworth won’t disspear as I’ll miss him more :( (

  13. ”Michael and Lincoln (Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell) will finally catch a break — at a huge cost — in May’s finale. Says Olmstead, ”There will be deaths.””

i’m so scared tha they are going to kill off Michael or Sara :( ((( and i’m not the only one.

i think its the best if we all write to Matt.
