Wentworth Miller told a French tv channel called Canal +, in an interview, that Prison Break was going to end this season. He says that the whole crew knows it and that a fifth season would only be for the money and he doesn’t want to be a part of this.

I think, although I love watching prison break, it’s right…the story must have an end…what will they do in season 5???

I agree too. Altough I don’t know yet how I’ll do without PB every tuesday but I guess we’ll have to face the facts. Besides it isn’t officially confirmed yet, I guess it’s a bit early for final conclusions. I remember when Season 3 was over last year a couple of months we knew nothing particular about Season 4 and what happened then. It’s different of course, and I’d like to see Went in other projects more than in PB

i don’t like the way he implied that some of pb crew or cast is only interested in money n he is so above them don’t get me wrong i like Went , Mery as much u like him [ok maybe a little less]but i don’t like the money reference

I dont think that he meant it that way, it was probly miscontrued. The producers, Fox, whoever, know that Went has a huge fanbase globally and may try 2 exploit that with continuing, . I doubt he’d like it if there was a season 5/6/7 and people were only watching it for him. No actor wants that really and I’m sure he wants to do something else as do many of his fans want to see him do
This show is huge, my cousins and relatives watch it from all corners of the globe. Think how much money the TV bosses are making. Well, thats the way I see it.

Well, I’m French and I watch what Canal+ called an interview. Actually, you can read the transcription on line. What Canal+ broadcasted is just 30 seconds sith some of his answers. Went doesn’t say that he wants to leave, only that he’s ready to move on, which is not the same thing at all! He says that some people, not the crew or other actors, but those who take a decision might want to do a season 5 only for money! He also says that everyone on the show knows that this season should be the last one. Anyway, we can’t be sure of what he said exactly because we cannot hear what he said, just the translation. It’s not the first time that Went has said that PB should have an end. Even Matt Olmstead said that. So I don’t see what’s all the fuss about. Anyway, we’re supposed to be able to wath the whole interview on line next week around Tuesday. Let’s hope it’s in English without the translator’s voice!

I’m one of fans in Thailand.
Thailand has no “Prison Break” shows on TV.
I never know him until I watch “Prison Break” by DVD. But now he’s the best actor I loved. Until now, I could watch just episode 8 (4.08)
I really really want to see more ASAP, but it’s quite difficult coz I have to wait until 4.12 on-air. Then around 1-2 weeks later, someone make DVD sold in Thailand.
About his interview,
I agreed with Woop. “The whole crew knows it” should mean “everyone knows that the 4th season should be the last season” isn’t it?
When he said about money, it’s not concern any crew, I think he means “Fox”. In case 5/6/7 th season project are really happen, they would be created for the money, not the real entertainment something like that.
In the sentense,”He doesn’t want to be a part of this”. I also think the other actors/actresses would think same as him too.

exactly phoenix, he’s probly not the only one who’s expressed these sentiments. Which is fair enough. PB is my fave show but I wouldnt mind seeing him in other projects tbh. The concept of the show cant possibly continue and I’m sure the rest of the cast know it. They’ve done really well to keep it enetertaining for 4 seasons. After season 2, I was like, what next, but its kept me gripped week after week. I dont read spoilers :p
